At 23andMe, I led a team of three writers tasked with bringing depth and meaning to the ancestry results received by 15 million customers. We created a personalized coffee table book and sourced, edited, and published hundreds of stories tied to 30+ global ancestries.

We wanted to help everyday customers more deeply understand their genetic results. Working with 23andMe's science team, we developed a concept, wrote and edited scripts, cast a host and internal “experts” to serve as guests, and scrappily brought our own talk show to life. Here I am, explaining how a person’s ancestry composition can be determined through genetic analysis.
